Sundance: Why would you want to risk everything to Expose eBay on Their Own Boards?
That's an Easy One! Where else can you reach that Many eBay Sellers? eBay couldn't stop the War that XPPMAN and I, Sundance, had on the Paypal Board, for around Four Months. Why? Because we had a following and a Very Large One. It most difficult to shut up someone, when everyone knows that your telling the Truth. Only when we became so Painfully Close to eBay's Real Agenda, were we Terminated. I would do it all over again, I have no regrets!
Yes, I lost my $30,000 a year income, but how much is your pride worth? Can you put a price tag on your Dignity? How long can anyone support a company that screws it's sellers over, without taking stock and honestly debating with yourself over those issues. Is it truly worth monumental gain, which now doesn't exist on eBay, to stay hooked to a company, that behaves contrary to your own set of personal ethics? I think not!
eBay is not the #1 Site that they would like you to believe it is. They are losing on the Stock Market, and Many Stock Holders have bailed out, calling them a "RISK!" The number of Sellers Screwed by Paypal is becoming Astronomical. In spite of what eBay Claims. Both eBay and Paypal are being PROTECTED. More than likely paying Big Bucks for that protection. Otherwise, by now, they would be explaining their case in court.
I am a firm believer than what goes around, will come around. That the Evidence Stacking Up Against Them, will turn into a Voice TOO LOUD TO IGNORE!
You either stand up for what you believe or you don't! You either think more of yourself, than to allow a company to continue to abuse you, or you don't! It's really that simple!
Sharing what you know with others is POWER! It empowers others to stand up, and share their stories. The more stories, the Bigger the Opportunity, to Expose Unethical Corporations. To Bring Them to Justice and Protect Others. Even if, you must sacrifice everything, to do so.

This is All So Very True!!! Although I am DISGUSTED with our CRIMINAL JUSTICE SYSTEM, the BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU, and THE PRESS, since I believe Whole Heartedly that they should have intervened long ago, regarding Paypal, which would have saved Thousands of Sellers from Experiencing what You and I have Gone Through. Where is the Compensation for Our Losses? Change will Come and eBay's Time for Honoring Themselves will Eventually Come to a Screeching Halt. I do not believe that any company can continue to do business, in the way paypal and eBay does business, and not have Their Day of Reckoning. Although the Vehicle by Which Change Should Have Come, has let the Broken Life's and Businesses of Sellers, Pave the Road. I find this Infuriating, Disgusting, and Totally Demoralizing!
Yes, I will repeat that I am a Survivor, but this experience has changed my entire life and the way I perceive not only Our System, and Corporate America, and People who are Willing to Take A Payoff, to Ignore the Truth. This Drama has also made Many Hero's, those Bold Enough to Come Forward and Tell their Story, such as Yourself. The more Sellers that come forward and flat out refuse to hide their own ill fated experiences with eBay and Paypal, the world will be forced into Acknowledging that Something is Seriously Wrong with these Company's, and that change is needed. Not a reform or fix to these company's, since once a Company is this Infected with Such Greed and Irresponsibility, Reform is No Longer an Option.
Plus to Reform either company, could mean that eBay/Paypal would have to Admit to their Negligence. Admittance would mean LIABILITY! Even so, they are 100% Liable and Responsible, without a Shadow of a Doubt! They should have to Pay Damages in Full for the Harm they have Caused the Businesses, they're Responsible for Ruining, the Financial Pain and Suffering they have Inflicted.
Even though I have Moved On and Now have a Job in the Real World. Financially I have been picking up the pieces of my life, and it will take several years to become completely solvent, and eBay and Paypal caused this Dilemma. I will continue to pay for the misfortune that brought upon me, until completed. I have no recourse than to keep this path and dig myself out of this hole. Until I have come full circle, and stand once again on solid financial ground.
No one should Trust eBay or Paypal, and those who feel at this point that they are Uniquely Different, and this Can't and Won't Happen to Them, keep Reading about all the Sellers who Felt that Way Too. There was Nothing More Shocking than Supporting eBay with My Auctions for Four Years, Getting a Suitable for Framing Power Seller Congrats from eBay, Signed by Meg W. for My Exemplary Ability as a Professional Seller, and then being Kicked to the Curb by eBay. I wasn't kicked off of eBay because I was a Bad Seller, my Feedback was tarnished by only 1 Neg, in over 2,000 individual transactions. I was kicked off because I disagreed with Paypal Policy's on eBay's Precious Boards. In One Fail Swoop, My Business was History.
Sellers, Don't Be Afraid of being Banished by eBay, be Very Afraid of Staying on eBay, until it HURTS!!!

Thanks Sundance, you know when this all started I was such a wreck and felt like I was the only one, but then I found this site and I'm so glad I did because it really does help to know that I'm not alone in this and having this place to talk and get information . You were so right when you said that WE made ebay and paypal successful and WE can take them down too, and that's what we need to do, we need to get the truth out and make people see. I will not even use ebay now, only because they are associated with paypal, I put anti paypal logos on every page of my website and alot of my customers are starting to see and ask questions, alot of them have closed their accounts too. Every little bit helps, and I honestly believe in time, they will get what they deserve. There was someone else on here talking about how the banks could replace paypal, here is the exact post

My main point is that here are a lot if place you can joine ONLY with PatyPal or StormPay and a lot of services you can buy -again-ONLY with PayPal or SyormPay. I been earning my living for 3 years using them. I cannot go out of bussiness and go and beg io the street instead. You are telling the impossible. I used paypal for my business for years, without one problem, until 3 months ago, now I have lost my home, paypal froze my account months ago, told me to fax, blah blah blah, I still don't know what I did, they are holding my money, over $5500 for 6 months and that's it. There are more than just a few complaints, check how many anti-paypal sites there are, the lawsuits, there is NO law that protects you against anything they do to you, they can basically do whatever they want, and not even give you a reason!!
there are other payment providers out there that do the same thing, BUT with the other providers, YOU are protected by laws, they can't hold your money, they can't just take money from your account WITH NO EXPLANATION, Paypal is not to be trusted!! Get out now before they get your money.

there is Banking laws, there is business laws, but with pay pal, it seems like none of this applies, and everytime those Jerks are sued, they act like they are the victims.

Actually folks both ebay and PP are NOT as BIG as they would like you to think they are. It is all hype anymore.
They have and are continuing to lose market share.
eBay lost out to Yahoo in Japan.
Taboo is kicking ebay's but so bad in China that ebay is giving
ebay ca Free stores and Free PP.
Australian's ebayers are NOT too happy as well as many UK users.
Some other European sites are gaining market share.
Other smaller sites are doing GREAT as more buyers and sellers
jump ebay's lisping ship.
There are now only about 700,000 active ebay sellers in the US.
AND WAY LESS BUYERS than two years ago.
eBay only accounts for about 25% of web sales
and seems to be going south even more.
ebays sell through and the entire US operations have fallen flat
for well over a year or so.
Their stock is down and hasn't had a significant rebound since the split earlier this year.
The top execs. at the bay began selling off stocks right after the "PP on our logos fiasco".
Need I go on?

I sang the same song as you for six years and then weeks ago they just froze my account and all of the money I have in it. Why? If you find out let me know because I have no idea and they won't give me an answer other than that they "observed suspicious activity". Bull.
It's easy to love eBay and Paypal until they screw you and put you out of business for no good reason.
