Paypal recentley froze my account, we have been customers for 3years and never once had a single complaint against us, we are registered as a business and fully verified with a valid VAT number and are members of square trade on ebay.
We generate around £3000 / $5500 every week, then two months ago our account was frozen with over £8000 in it, paypal response of a added security measure didnt wash, we have communicated every day with them and they have asked for nothing at all, no verification of any sort they said once they were satisfied with there enquirys it would be resolved.
Two months on and they dont respond to our emails, and when we phone (if they answer) we get told to be patient.
I think watching your business self destruct overnight gives you the right to be annoyed.
Im taking instruction from my lawyer now although its very complicated.

dayrongarcia, Hi, this just happened to me and I'd like to know how things turned out for you. I'm neagative 161. in my PP account, because of a scam. Before that I had $70...now it's on hold. I feel robbed. If reported this to police and they don't understan how PP can tell me some $ is in my account then 2 days later tell me it's on hold and negative. Who can I report this to?

xppman, Your information about filing a complaint is the kind of thing I like to see on these sites. People coming here, with very few exceptions, are suffering and need to know what to do for their immediate pain. I applaud your wonderfully informative and helpful response, and its humanity. You truly did a good thing there. Personally, having had my own terrifying close encounter with Paypal, I never use them anymore. But, for those still stuck in that financial time warp, you information is a God send!
I agree. Unfortunately, most of those who are here, have already been ripped off, and the rest are not paying attention.

This from the PayFraus site is what they think gives them the right to rip you off.

>>If you do not notify us within 60 days after receiving notice, you may not recover any money you lose after the 60 days if we can prove that we could have stopped someone from taking the money if you had notified us within that time. If a good reason (such as a long trip or hospital stay) kept you from notifying us, we may extend the 60-day time period.<<

Pay us, Pal, and E-ripoff were started by Steev Wesley, California Comptroller, and gubernatorial candidate. Goes to prove you can't trust a politician.

chadpengar, They need a mass assault on their chargeback operation. If enough people all buy items and then claim non-receipt, then more selleres will experience Paypals dreadful set-up and will be aware FIRST HAND of their ignorant tactics!!

I wonder if we could get enough people who have been scammed by PayPal (or who just want to donate) to donate to a fund to purchase a full page ad in the Wall Street Journal that exposes them for what they are with hard supportable evidence. In order for any sort of meaningful effect to be felt by PayPal, you need a meaningful number of people in on it. To get enough people to quit PayPal you would need a lot of people and you need the media to help recruit. Sorry for the babbling. Basically you need a critical mass to get PayPal a bad enough reputation amongst the general populace that you can do enough to affect them.

I feel honored that now I have a
copy cat (impostor) poster.

Shows we are indeed being effective against
PayPal ebay and LieWorld and that they all love us so much for helping folks out.LOL

Must be a new strategy in their LIEWORLD "play book" they are trying
as the old tiered worn out "you agreed to it when you signed up"
script is not effective. Not that it ever was.

<Korny>,
Fair enough... I see you point.
The information is available for all who seek it.

Got to love the Internet. LOL

You have any documentation or can you site news articles
to back up your statement?

Don't need to. Check their annual financial statements. They don't hide such things as salary for CEO, board of directors, etc. They aren't allowed to. Neither is eBay. It's just that eBay is scamming and getting away with it. They still publish salary information in their corporate profit and loss stgatements each year.

if all of us went to the paypal web site at the exact same hour, it would overwhelm and shut their system down.

They're Going Down................

<SuePayPal>,

Sundance, me too I want them to be shut down asap!!! guess what its none of my concern. Ya just here to vent and have others feel sorry for you.

Sundance: You are totally wrong about me. You see, I have something in common, with every seller who has felt betrayed by these companies. Those who have lost money and lost businesses, should have never gone through any of this. eBay and Paypal should have been reamed out, Legally, long ago.

Trust Me, Their Day is Coming! And as I see it, from all the eBay Trolls sent into Paypalsucks lately, eBay must be Very Worried!!!

Good!!! They Should Be, because They're Going Down!!!

No eBay!!! No Paypal!!! No Problem!!!
