First of all PAYPAL doesn't suck. I've been using them services for the longest time and I can attest their services are fully reliable.

Another point I wanted to make regarding this...
In the email PayPal sent to those whose accounts were frozen they stated that the accounts were limited due to reports of suspicious behavior. This is very important because once they make such a statement, they may be able to suspend the practice modifications agreed to in the class action lawsuit. Effectively nullifying that agreement. But look at these cases: clearly the people who donated didn't report any such suspicious behavior because they were all long time users of the sites doing the fund raising. So it seems PayPal simply makes this claim on ALL CASES as a matter of procedure.

That is just awful, TR Cossey. :( Also, that really makes me mad without words too, those big companies and banks that can screw you over, but if you and I did it, that would be punishable. Even though Katrina ruined many lives, it doesn't mean you aren't important. I am sick of people ripping me off too. I am an underpaid person that can't even get full time work. Then somebody always wants something from me (money). I hope things get better soon for you.

PaypalSucks, I totally understand, and my life recently has been turned upside down, yes by paypal.
sadly, had it not been for netbank freezing my account, I never would have been on ebay selling my things> Due to netbank I lost 2K, lost my apartment. then acutioned my laptop to help pay for move in cost of the new apt, then, thanks to paypal freezing my funds, I won't be moving into my new place anytime soon. So how is it they can steal (stealing is my .02 of pp) from the same people that keep them in business? to me seems like corporate america (example, enron) without regard to humanity.
If person commits the crime of robbery, it is punishable, but these banks, and financial serivces can do it without being held accountable? My story has been heard before, young single mom, over worked underpaid, and living hand to mouth. I know I am not the only one.
Katrina left many peoples lives forever altered, As for me, they can rob me of my money, But they can never break me,
Just made my life harder when it was already hard enough. sorry....

Sadly I'm one of those people that've been tryign to get donations sent to a friend's paypal account to let her try and rebuild. The problem is(and she'd given me access rights to her account before katrine hit in the likely event that she wasn't able to get to a computer) withdrawing money requires you provide a credit card number. Even unverified accounts that supposedly let you withdraw x ammount of money to a land address put you through this. Right now she's broke, I don't have a bank account, and quite frankly this is getting under my skin in the extream since i was going to do several donation drives to help her rebuild.

forbindelse med omdanningen av Norsk språkråd har institusjonen fått nytt navn: Språkrådet. Navnet ble fastsatt i brev fra Kultur- og kirkedepartementet 18. mai og blir tatt i bruk på brevark i samband med at vi flytter inn i nye lokaler 19. august. Det nye navnet er i samsvar med forslaget fra interimsstyret i Språkrådet. Språkrådet var tidligere en mye brukt kortform for Norsk språkråd, men er nå altså oppgradert som offisielt navn på den nye institusjonen.
