Here's what I want to know:
Where is the media? The only story on this was from TheRegister.co.uk .
I notified other media... never saw any stories on it. This is a significant story. So why nothing from other media?

Exactly Sundance! It is an admission of guilt! Now we just need a judge and jury to hear it!

Openyoureyes,
This is exactly what a Proofreaders Copy would look like. Since I have been a Professional Writer for many years, it is very easy to see the Truth in this. I know what Proofreaders Copy looks like.
Yes, Paypal has a Nasty Habit of Blaming Others for not Reading their Terms of Agreement, where in Fact, it takes a Degree in Criminal justice to Decipher it. More to Paypals Credit. They have managed to find a million loopholes to jump through, thereby leaving the Sellers to Blame and Out on a Limb.
What amazes me that Sellers want to Fix the Problems that they are currently having with Payfraud, so that they can get back on track, and continue using this payment venue. Why, because eBay says that it is the Number 1 way to pay for an auction? Of course they are going to tell you that, they want your fees. Even if using this service is a detriment to your business.
In many ways this proof reading error can be formally called an "Admission of Guilt!" That paypal's SPP is Bogus and a Complete Sham on those they use their (cough cough) should I say Service???

It is most certainly genuine. This should be rock-solid proof to any seller that PayPal is giving you the middle finger.
Hey Openyoureyes, I have a red bridge for sale in San Francisco. Interested?

[B]Should any suspicious activity occur, PayPal will either alert you either by email or by a representative calling you. But PayPal doesn’t stop there. We offer you [excellent] [ too strong I think given the limited ability to comply with SPP] chargeback protection, too.[B]
Appears that PAYPAL was caught with their pants down! LOL This Proofreader Slip, expresses most admirably, the inability of PAYPAL to Protect its Sellers! Very Clear Indeed that SPP and the Word Excellent were never intended to be in the Same Sentence! Too Strong is Correct, that PAYPAL offers anything close to Seller Protection!
I am extremely pleased that someone noticed this, and brought this screen shot to the attention of so many consumers.
Paypalsucks Administrator: They are admitting right there, that sellers have "limited ability" to comply with the "protection policy" to stop chargebacks!
BINGO!!!

WRONG The page shown is EXACTLY as it was and genuine. No one doctored it. The page has been memorialized by several people and news media. As for being a "former PayPal employee," I can only laugh out loud. But I believe you, because you have the exact same mindset as PayPal: Blame everyone else but PayPal, and NEVER take responsibility for your actions.

PaypalSucks,
PayPal quotes " Other financial institutions"... EXCUSE ME ??? PAYPAL is NOT a FINANCIAL INSTITUTION. Financial institutions are REGULATED by the government ! PayPal is only regulated by PAYPAL which is why they get away with all of their deceptive practices. If they ever had to comply with Gov't regulation they would be shut down forever !!
Their SPP is completely bogus and their claim about the chargeback situation is a complete JOKE. PayPal is JUDGE and JURY in ALL Matters and they work with NO ONE. Their claim about "professional and expert fraud investigation " is also a bold faced lie. They employ no such "experts" and it's been revealed that they rarely do ANY kind of an "investigation" at all. How does this company stay in business when it is completely built on nothing more than fraud, lies and deception ? Are there that many GULLIBLE people out there ? OBviously there must be. I can tell you this.. I would never trust my money and financial information to someone who had PayPal's record. Does it really make sense to trust someone with your financial information and access to your accounts when they are in no way regulated and you are in no way protected ?? I don't understand how they keep getting away w/doing what they do.

Openyoureyes,
Nice signature.
Tell me where in the user agreement it states that if you are in any way related to a person with a limited account, Paypal will also limit your account.

Thie Page is doctored and Is not a genuine Paypal page
Read the user agreement before selling, FOLLOW ALL DIRECTION and it is impossible to NOT be covered for protection.
I think the key is first of all learning to read

<xppman>, Exactly. We have lots of evidence that PayPal is playing games:
1. The admissions above.
2. The words of former employees:
Quote:

http://www.paypalsucks.com/PayPalFormerEmployee2.shtml
3. Depositions during the first class action lawsuit.
Maybe this mistake they made will be like the Jackson special that prompts law enforcement to take another look at PayPal and how they operate.

Quote: That's awesome. I'm so glad somebody was able to capture that before they fixed it. Hopefully, one day in the (very) near future, somebody will be able to use that in an investigation and/or case against PayPal.
This is PROOF that they know their SPP is bogus. Perhaps a "defective product" lawsuit would be in order. Or a federal grand jury. I could see a subpoena via the discovery process, demanding to see the records of who all the folks were that have been "protected" by this bogus policy as well as the ones who have not. I'm sure pp has all these records and the FEDS or a good lawyer could get their hands on it.
