the product I bought arrived at the local po but was not delivered to my personal mail box. paypal considered it delivered without caring that the product did not reach me. I had a letter from the owner of my mail box location and paypal ignored it. I dont have a chance in heck of getting anything using paypal. Any other mail box users who have had the same experience?

xppman, PAYPALTHEJOKE, paypal pretty much stole my money. there money back guarantee for buyers , only favors the buyer. seller ends up at their mercy. someone purchased an item from me and he contacted me back a few days later. saying items were missing and the box was open. First off, no carrier will accept an openned shipment, so the item was definately sealed and shipped correctly. He did not buy shipping insurrance from me and there was no return policy on that item. The buyer decided to file a paypal dispute. so in order to avoid problems, i said ok i will reinburse you for whatever is missing. I gave this guy 30 dollars of my money and he was happy. Few days later, my account was limited. Guess what he didnt close the dispute and paypal has taken $295 from my account without my concent. now the buyer refuses to reply to my emails, because the only way i can close this dispute is if the buyer closes it with paypal. well right now am getting a merchant account. I HATE PAYPAL. ALL I GOT FROM CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS BULLSHIT EVEN AFTER PROVIDING PROOF OF PAYMENT TO BUYER. PAYPAL SUCKS MORE THAN MY X GIRLFRIEND AND BELIEVE ME SHE SUCKED

The fact of the matter is both sellers and buyers have no protection with PayPal and we all know that.

Sundance: Unfortunately not everyone knows this. Newbies who start selling on eBay, are not aware of what has been going on for years now. Many Sellers that have been around for awhile, and have been hit with chargebacks, don't necessarily discontinue using paypal. They just want their present problem rectified, and once it is, they continue to accept paypal anyhow. I have read it on eBay's Boards repeatedly: "I have had several chargebacks, I got mad and wasn't happy, but I will continue using paypal since it is the most widely accepted form of payment on eBay. Quote: "The buyers want it!"

Well, the buyers were persuaded into using paypal, because of eBay's relentless advertising campaign. Many sellers are afraid to discontinue their relationship with paypal, and specifically because eBay has set up this entire attitude about the use of paypal, on their site. The chargebacks will continue, the newbies coming in, will continue to click the accept button to paypal's UA. The truth is deleted daily, on eBay's Paypal Board, so how will the new sellers be aware that paypal is dangerous? This is why Lieworld Exists. To keep the truth out of eBay's Public Forums!

The only way to bring down a corporation of this size, is for the majority of the sellers to stop using paypal. Otherwise nothing changes and you have a continuance of the same scenario, over and over again.

With complaints being filed, and nothing of substance being done about paypal in general. Only a situation in regards to one seller at a time, either gets restitution or not. This is not the total answer, to the big problem or to the big question: How do we stop this? How do we make change that will really benefit the sellers, long term? How do we make it a realization, that victims of paypal, cease to be, forever?

IMO, the only way to stop paypal, is to NOT USE PAYPAL. Not just a portion of the sellers, but the majority. To effect change, it has to be on a grand scale. No one in the justice department is actually hearing, what is going on here. How many years have sellers filed with the DOJ against paypal? Yet those sellers detrimentally effected by paypal, continue to show up on paypalsucks, daily. Have you ever wondered why this kind of Corporate behavior continues to be alive and well? Why the powers that be, have failed to effect major change and bring about a massive investigation, into the business of the paypal corporation?

While we continue to file and continue to wait for something to be done, sellers continue to lose money and businesses. As an example: If 200,000 people can pour into the streets demonstrating against the immigration law, then why can't the sellers of eBay, unite with the same fervor against paypal? When sellers give up their rights to protection by signing up for paypal, it seems to me, that the answer to all of this, is the Sellers. eBay has played a major mind game on it's community. Many have seen through it, many don't know it exists, many are seduced and conned into believing that they have to accept paypal. Why, because eBay says that you can't succeed without them. Which is not true, but eBay has the Big Bucks and Commissioned Censorship, to keep this fallacy going!

Think about it: If none of the sellers used paypal, but accepted other means of payment at their actions, would every seller lose sales?

I think it's up the sellers to promote change, because at this point it's pretty obvious, that no one else is going to do it for us!

The fact of the matter is both sellers and buyers have no protection with PayPal and we all know that. They think there xxx dont stink and they sit back and collect the money. The fact is so many people are in a false sense of security thinking PayPal is on their side when in reality they arent.

For sellers you have one option to protect yourself, and thats only ship once the funds are in your bank account. If a buyer submits a PayPal payment, they have paid PayPal not you. So unless you have a PAYPAL ATM card to immediately withdraw those funds, you are not paid. Sellers are paid once PayPal has deposited those funds into your bank account, NEVER BEFORE.

So if paypal limits your account, you dont want to be put in a situation where your out the funds and the product. It happened to me today, I have 2600 payments made to me, and they limited the account over suspecious activity.

They want you to :

- resolve all complaints against your account
- verify your street and telephone number
- give them your social (FXXX THAT)
- add another bank account and credit card to your account
- verify your shipping by giving tracking numbers of 50 paid customers

and there's alot more. The fact is you will never get restored its more of their bull.

I think it would be sort of funny to let registered users edit un-registered users posts. So if some one posts something like "F$*!@*# You Mother$*#&@&, I LUV PayPal" someone could edit it so it says "Hi everyone, I sure like it here and I don't like PayPal at all." LOL :)
