snyd09, Yes dear valued PP employee we are probably all wrong because none of us are following the "rules"? I guess that's why I WON a Judgment against PP and got PAID! The Judge felt the same way too. It's only too bad more people dont take action like I did.

actually your wrong. i love my company. i use paypal all the time and i use ebay with no problem. want to knwo why? because i follow the rules and i dont do dumb things. its that simple. if you dont follow the rules and guidelines...then well...thats your own fault. its a user initiated system. if something goes wrong. its probably your fault.

paypal does fight chargebacks. if there is insuficent information to fight it on the seller behalf they wont. it costs so much money to fight a chargeback its crazy. we do fight on the sellers behalf. sorry buyers. you files the chargeback. you LOSE. and you know what im tired of hearing? "paypal only protects the buyers" and "paypal only protects the sellers" heres a weird concept. PP protects both BUT you have to follow the rules. wow. weird. who would have tough that if i folly the rules and guidelines...ill get protected. i know it might be a new concept for you people. BUT GET OVER YOUR SELF PLEASE. thank you.

I purchased a fake bag last year and in order to be refunded I had to send it to the "Return Center" on Perimeter Drive in Dallas. I Googled that address and found that it is a division of Liquidity Services, a reseller of Internet items. They even sold fake designer bags! I have a thread on Ebay about this if you're interested.
http://forums.ebay.com/db2/thread.jspa?messageID=1007641979&forumID=1000000009&x#1007641979
Point is: I don't think Paypal is discarding them. Why would they have told me to send the bags "in original condition" if they were going to discard them?

PaypalSucks,
PayPal suspended my money, although the purchase had been shipped...PayPal demands personal info about me and my friend (third party), without any explanation...
I've been several times made out of money by dishonest sellers, but Paypal did nothing. NOTHING!!!

PP-victim, Hi, these paypal "hacks" the so called employees that come on this site are humerous to me. Believe me they all know they work for a scam company but what do you expect from them when they are cashing their pay checks every two weeks. Of course they come on here touting their useless user agreement. Just sue them like I did, and get paid like I did. The only real question here is not why paypal gets sued constantly, that's a given with the way they operate but rather why do they seem to "lose in court" all the time? Hmmm, must be their eithical way of doing business just keeps catching up to them. The real truth comes from many of the former employees that have posted on this site. One even predicted my whole experience so accurately down to the actual telephone and email responses that I would receive from them WORD FOR WORD and his advice was to sue, which I did and got paid as well. Every crook knows you don't really have to steal from everyone to make money! So my advice is to do what I did..and get paid!

arudisu,
Gee so I guess the tens of thousands of us, all were just an innocent paypal mistake... My commercial merchant account a REAL one, now if a chargeback comes in, I actually get the letter directly from the issuing card holder bank, whom I'm able to directly fax proof to, I haven't gotten hit with a single chargeback since, wow, now THAT'S how business is done.
As for the dicknose comment - hey if the dick fits....

it makes no difference if you asking for ssn or hair color. call any other company and ask for contact information about another customer. contact information can be used for identity theft. people do not want their information release to joe blow cause he is upset. and if you really followed all seller protection to a "T" as you say, they sue paypal for going against their own user agreement. out of over 100 million customers, there are bound to be mistakes made. maybe in your case it was a simple mistake. but if you dont pursue it, then dont complain about it. i know paypal isnt perfect, as with any other company. because its done by humans. and as far as "dicknose", are you even old enough to have a paypal account? immaturity, no matter what you may have heard does not equal credibility.

arudisu,
Hey dicknose... No one is asking for another person's social security #, date of birth or whatnot. Seller and Buyer engaged in a business transaction, paypal transferred the funds, the funds have been withdrawn, I'm not taking paypal's word for it without concrete proof, that they actually did something about it, thats like you calling me, saying hey fix my credit, me saying - sure, gimme $10 all taken care of, then I hang up, put the $10 in my pocket, take a nap and then when you call me back and say hey did you take care of it, I send you a long canned response "well to the best our efforts we fought for your side and tried our best, but your case just wasn't winnable so you've lost, thanks for the $10" and I hang up the phone. The guy calls back and says "well, show me all the proof of what you did for me, who did you call, what did you say, blah blah blah" and I say "Well, our privacy policies forbid us from giving such info for a 3rd party"
Well wait a sec, who the hell is the 3rd party here.... Its your credit and its on the credit companies database, the guy fixing it is the 3rd party...
Same here with Paypal, your the seller, then there is the buyer with his credit card company, paypal just shuffled the money around, it is the 3rd party between the two originating parties - the buyer and the seller, its them who have the privacy priviledge and they are granting paypal a temporary priviledge, so paypal is stepping way out of bounds and getting in the way when there is a dispute, then when you want paypal to show proof they actually did anything at all besides take your $10, they fall back on their bullshit privacy policy, its a total crock of shit, just like you and PPgirl2 and paypal, you are all totally full of shit, end of story
Google Checkout!!!

The end of paypal !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

arudisu,
{BUZZZER} Wrong! I personally followed ALL of the sellers rules to a T - shipped on time, the credit card AVS verication showed valid to the shipping address, freight shipper delivered, I received all confirmation paperwork.
Showed this all to paypal, I'm supposed to be covered up to $5,000 seller protection, they still refused to dispute the charge, I'm out nearly $2,000 and the guy has the machine and all I wanted was for paypal to put me directly in touch with the issuers credit card company so I could personally dispute the charge, paypal interferred, got in my way and stopped me from getting my money back, then they had the balls to send me to collections, whereby I immediately sent out a debt validation letter, the collection agency AND paypal both scurried away, why? Because the debt is now paypal's, not mine, because paypal interferred with the chargeback process and now owns the debt, not me, tough sh*t paypal!

more like a money laundering service for their own internal corporate crimes!!!
sound like conspiracy theorist. paypal doesnt release other customers shoe size to you because of privacy laws which most companies must abide by. maybe i should call your bank and request all of your personal information. if they released it, you wouldnt be too happy. if you continually lose money because of chargebacks, being scammed or phishing it probably means that there is a lack of common sense there. you might consider shutting down your computer at this point and selling it.
