I like to sign up, let me know when and were. Some of my thoughts ...
Issue 1
I think their process of Dispute Resolutions is absolutely not fair, you don't even get
to know how they investigated, no copies of 'evidence' or statements and you can't tell
your side of the story or submit your evidence if they don't ask...IN other word's it what
old timers used to call .."Being Railroaded on a dead-end Track".
Even in a court of law you are 'supposed' to have an impartial jury or impartial judge and both
sides of the case are give equal time to present there case and they have to disclose to
each other what 'evidence' they have. PP could have a fairer process, no doubt.
Issue 2
The PR stuff on their website doesn't seem to hold true to the facts that some (many) people are
having problems with them. ( like..their saying one thing but do something else)
Issue 3
During a phone call to PP a worker stated, "their policies and decisions are the only one's that matter (not your ad or your business policies), and they are decisions are final, like it or not." I say...NO PP you're not above the Federal & State Laws, you just
need to be reminded, because sometimes you seem to act like you think you are.
Issue 4
NOT FDIC, not regulated...so we have no insurances of anything and they don't have to be accountable like a real bank. Thats part of the reason they can regulate themselves.

IMO they work for ebay via LieWorld and some of them are

Sundance: I too agree that both should be involved. It is my opinion, that it should be, in a specific order.
There are some Investigative Reporters out there, who still go after the tough stories, and can glean out the truth, and expose it! They go after what's buried under the dirt, and they don't stop digging until they find it.
There are a few Investigative Reports, who have built their reputation on Integrity, and cannot be bought off. (Paypalsucks Administration, I know of one such reporter, that I would bet my life on, that this story would get out Big Time. I have thought about contacting him, but if you would like to know who this is, please email me, and I would be happy to tell you.)
The Press is Essential.
US Congressional Investigations are a given. Although we know, that once something of this Magnitude, "Hits the Headlines", in the forefront, Top Authorities tend to take matters more seriously, since the subject is now public. (Out in the Open)
IMO Opinion, Press First, and our Government will have no choice, but to act on it.

As a result of the LAST class action lawsuit settlement, paypal is required to provide specific documentation to you and every other account holder whose funds are being held in limbo indefinitely. You'd never know it, though, because paypal doesn't tell you how to file a complaint alleging that paypal is in violation of the Electronic Funds Transfer Act, and that it will respond only if your complaint is filed using one specific complaint form hidden in the UA.

Click on the link in #2 to put paypal on formal notice of its error in freezing your account funds. Under EFTA, there are specific steps paypal must follow to resolve your dispute, or be subject to triple damages should you decide to take them to court. (Note that the UA says paypal may take 10 days to respond. That in itself is twice as long as it agreed to in court - oops.)
Use the link to file a complaint that paypal has made an unauthorized electronic funds transfer by withholding your funds as outlined in clause F(iii). Request a copy of all documentation paypal used in determining to freeze your account. EFTA requires paypal to investigate your claim within a short time period, provide a "meaningful" response, and actually send you any paperwork it has to support its action, at your request. Be sure to save copies of everything you receive from paypal in response to your complaint, in case you have no recourse but to sue them for triple damages as allowed under the Act.

If you get screwed you only have yourself to blame. Everyone is in debt whether ya like it or not.

It's such total crap, and something must be done about it.
While I applaud those of you who have signed, I don't really think a petition is going to do much. I do encourage those who have gone to the media about it, who have made complaints to the FTC, and those who have gone so far as to sue those Paydevil muthaf**kers. Keep up the good work. The more people that know about the corrupt Paypal practices, the better.
I've had 3 Paypal accounts, and I've lost money in it all times. I for one have had enough, so I've resolved to just not use their service. I mean, there are alot of up and coming online payment processing companies out there that are going to give Paypal a run for their money. I get alot of sales on the sit I sell on (hell no it isn't eBay!) and I make it clear to my customers that I DO NOT, NOT EVER, NO CHANCE IN HELL ACCEPT PAYPAL. If people really want what I sell, they'll come up out of their pockets and pay for it some other way. Lately I've taken to using Alertpay and Moneybrookers. I've even gotten tons of customers to abandon Paypal and join those services instead. These services are way better than Paypal anyday.
More to the point, I think that there's one surefire way to end Paypal completely. Websites such as these, and all other Paypal sucks websites like them are my heroes. People need to know that when they agree to that BS user agreement, that they're signing their money over to a huge corporate dictator. Paypal is huge because WE have made it so. Companies like Paypal start off as nothing. Then over the years, as more people join, they get all full of themselves and think that they can do whatever injustice to people and not be held accountable. Paypal should scrap their entire user agreement and form a new one saying "As a Paypal member, you do what we say, when we say it. We can limit or close your account for no justifiable reason. We can hold onto your money for BS reasons. Why? BECAUSE WE CAN, AND THERE'S NOTHING YOU CAN DO ABOUT IT." This should be their user agreement, not the useless, vague and deceptive crap they have today.
Paypal has become a beast, a rabid, wild and untamed money hog and only we can stop it. By collectively boycotting Paypal services and encouraging others to do so, we can end this. Paypal today, eBay tomorrow.

PaypalSucks,Hi all, I am a UK ebayer, and very soon to be an EX PayPal'er. I have signed and ask all others to sign as well. I like most other sellers have just wised up to PayPal’s annoying allegiance with buyers. I am only a small time seller, but a £20 ($37) loss to me is the profit from 10 or 11 sales. I am going to e-mail all my contacts that have bought from me, I will be asking them to visit this site, once they have read about the issues and concerns of thousands of EX PayPal members, they should then make an informed decision as to whether or not they wish to continue using the service. I suggest other EX member’s canvas their own contacts in this way. POWER TO THE PEOPLE to coin an old, but pertinent slogan.
