I hate those feckers PayPal, and eBay.
I am now using 2checkout and alertpay, having no problems with them at all.
Then again, anything is better than PayPal LoL
Because of their actions I might have to fork out over €5,000 from my own pocket! The B***ards!

morgancrane, you can skip the donation part. you dont have to donate. and the host of the petition takes paypal as a form of payment alright but they dont have anything to do with the owner/starter of the petition. but yeah, you can sign it without gving a donation

I have used Paypal for years, but have had many problems in the past. Just recently I got a notice in my email that my account had been locked. I figured it was just another of thousands of false alarms you have to sort through all the time. Well I went to logon to Paypal to check it out anyway, and find my account has been locked, and I supposedly owe $87.55 when I haven't bought or sold anything for months! You have no way to figure out what you are being accused of, because you can't logon to your own account!!! On top of that you get a generic return email to any inquiry you make, and are told to call 1-866-888-4178 where you must wait, and wait, and wait until you are so pissed off you hang up! I HATE PAYPAL!!! And I will never do business with them again! I also plan to use my Internet skills to make sure everyone knows about their underhanded, scamming, idiotic, incompetent methods!

<NOCHEX>, We had been doing business with Paypal for over 4 years and we have never had any problems until one client was unhappy. He complained and they took over 4000.00 of our nonrefundable product with a contract he signed and Paypal stopped 2 companies because of it. To make a long story short PayPal will be in court and on the news shortly. We are SEO specialists and created the only software on the market to get any site number 1 on Google Yahoo and MSN doesn’t mean you will get customers but you will get traffic. So we are creating millions of pages all about Paypal deception and unlawful findings to make it short. At best - You all really need to contact the BBB and send as many grievances as possible!!!! It works and they will lose clients quickly! They will have to start all over if ever. But The BBB is the way to go!

Google has their own site. Its like paypal you use your email. And get verified by credit or debit card. And heres the good part EBAY has refused them from being used as a checkout on their website. TRY GOOGLE CHECKOUT or Ioffer.com
I found these two are really good alternatives for ebay and Paypal.

I also think everyone who has been taken by PayPal should contact their Attorney Generals in their respective states....especially in NY, Spitzer is a pitbull for the consumer. I started a thread with a link to all the AG's, but here is the link again:

AG's are public servants. They can't file suit on individuals' behalfs, but they can make life a living hell for PayPal and possibly put them out of business...they can also force them to refund monies due.
Also, if anyone knows any media heads, getting their antics in the national media would be great---I'm not so sure why it hasn't been picked up yet.
They have $441 of my money...including over $80 they took out of my bank account that I requested to send to two sellers and then they froze my account, didn't send the sellers the money and didn't put it back in my account..that's fraud in my book. They froze my account because they said it was connected with another person's...I've sent them all the documentation to show them it wasn't and 3 months ago they said they'd release my funds in 3-5 days....still waiting.
